New Sea Tel 9711 and 9711 QOR Antenna Systems

 

Sea Tel is pleased to announce the introduction of our new 9711 and 9711 QOR (pronounced “core”) products. The 9711 series antennas is based off our industry leading 9797B product line and incorporates added features that make this truly a revolutionary product.

Quadrature Oriented Reflectors (QOR) technology from Sea Tel is the next step in marine stabilized antenna systems, offering dual reflectors with a single controller, transition from C-band to Ku-band in seconds and reduced service time, in port or at sea.

 

 

9711 Product features:

  • Circular/Linear selectable feed: Allows for electronic switching from circular A Pol to B Pol, from circular to linear horizontal and vertical from Below Decks.
  • Generation 2 Electronics: This electronics is the same used on our XX09 and XX10 series antennas and contains the following features:
    o Internal level cage.
    o Internal 400 MHz modems.
    o Motor Driver assembly with diagnostic tools.
    o Bluetooth connection capability from below decks to above decks equipment. Bluetooth device required.
  • Added software features: All C-band feed switching can be accomplished using the DAC front panel, the Sea Tel GUI, or diagnostic software such as DacRemP and Progterm.
  • Fully compatible with OpenAmip and ABS.
  • Will include Standard C-band and Ku band only systems.
  • No longer a need to change a feed to go from circular to linear C-band operation
     

9711 QOR Product features:

  • All features of the 9711 and:
    o 1.2 M Ku band antenna mounted on same pedestal for dual C/Ku systems.
    o Electronic switching from C to Ku band operation.
    o C-band circular/linear, Ku band cross or co pol operation on one antenna system.
    o No longer a need to change the feed to go from C-band to Ku band operation.
    o QOR switch box routes IF and M&C from C to K requiring only 1 cable run for transmit and receive to the below decks interface.
