Pre-activated DirecTV decoder service

Unique DirecTV for Caribbean! MEC provide new pre-activated DirecTV decoder service trough E3 partner in Antigua.

To avoid delays and frustration with sourcing and activating DirecTV satellite TV services in the Caribbean this winter MEC partner E3 Antigua are offering:

  • duty paid supply of preactivated new decoders on the dock immediately upon arrival in Falmouth or English Harbour
  • duty free supply of new decoders and subsequent activation within 10 days of arrival
  • existing decoders to be sent ahead to e3 Antigua in October and November for pre activation ready for arrival
  • leave your decoders at the end of the Caribbean season in storage at e3 Antigua and they will be pre activated for the next season and delivered to the yacht on arrival
  • SAT TV conversions with LNBs in stock.

Due to the bottleneck in DirecTV decoder activations, caused by hundreds of yachts arriving in the Caribbean simultaneously, our partner E3 Antigua has launched a service to combat these delays and frustrations.

Any yacht can either order new, pre-activated DirecTV decoders with 6-month subscriptions, or arrange for existing decoders to be activated on a specific date to coincide with their estimated date of arrival.

New decoders are supplied and activated by E3 Antigua from their office in English Harbour, and can be delivered on board there, or sent to another island if required.

E3 Antigua has set up a rack to activate up to 40 decoders simultaneously.

Please note that, if activation is not pre-booked and paid for in advance, it may take up to 7-10 days to arrange after arrival.

Please contact MEC Sales HERE for more information and orders.
